I’m sure it’s the goal, but this is drier, with more throat bitterness, than a red usually has. I’d prefer the malt to be more pronounced.

Would have been better on cask, but it kicked.

Mildly bitter with a pleasant crystal malt back end

As someone who really enjoyed mid-90s microbrewery red ales, and kinda misses mid-90s microbrewery red ales, I was pretty excited to try Mid-90s Microbrewery Red Ale. Tastes like a mid-90s microbrewery red ale!

Nice and multi red ale with a great balance of little hops and lots of malt.

Mild malt and bread aroma and flavor. Smooth with a mild bitterness.

I found this on the Limited Batch Release menu at the Brew Pub in Rehoboth Beach during our vacation in Ocean City and brought home a 4-pack for my beer homies. Good stuff! I had to re-read the label. MUCH better than your typical Red Ale. Cheers! =)

This one is not a knockout punch for me like the rest of my friends. It's okay, but nothing I would go to war with.

Not as malty as I expected it to be given the era. Like a warm hug to when I first started getting into craft.
