A good pils or lager should never be rushed, of course. I dig this: it's got a bit of an OEC-esque coolship thing, but it is super crisp and clean and even a bit grassy.

Just what a gose should be: dry, tart, a bit salty. I may ask friends to start calling me gose. 😄

Kind of a sweet spot for aging this: Still kept light carbonation and body but lost the booziness. Did this with 2011 version (left).

Became leathery, raisin-y, and barleywine-ish by aging this long.

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2018) F
Part of a mini-vertical. Lost the coffee, but still a semi-sweet and very smooth stout.

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2019) F
A bit above a 4.5. Still get much (not all) of the coffee, the maple & the body I remember from CBS. Concludes the mini-vertical.

Roasty & velvety smooth. Light hint of smoke. Weird that I haven't checked this in previously.

Convincing myself this is tart cherry juice that's good for post-workout recovery. I can rationalize anything.

Dave upsold me on this. I didn't exactly fight it. Could totally see how this style influenced the current state of saisons/farmhouses.
