Dark fruit and alcohol on nose, slight fusel notes. Medium body. Follows nose, could stand a bit more malt sweetness and body to bring things into balance… but also to be expected sitting at 16.5% abv

Beautiful. Very strong. Don’t drink a lot of these, but I aged this one for a year as a celebratory beer. Can’t say what the original is like but this was great.

There's a strong raisin sweetness at the end but in between the light malt beginning and that finish there's this OBSCENE earthy flavor that doesn't sit well for me. Not for me I guess.

Broke out a two-year-old bottle of this to share at fried chicken night. Still amazing. #latergram

Was expecting it to be a little sweeter, because of the brown sugar. It was a bit dry on the finsh

2018 bottling. I'm not generally a fan of high-ABV beer, but this is great. I wouldn't have guessed it's 13%. Deep and complex with a flavor I really enjoy. I don't even like raisins!

Excellent. Correct amount of candy in the grain bill. Belly warming booziness

Big chewy raisin. ABV is hidden masterfully. An excellent cellar beer. Bottling up a bunch of barrel-aged homebrew stouts

Bottled 01/11/2019. I’ve sat on this for several years. Malty, boozy, lots of raisin flavor. I don’t get a lot of brown sugar flavor but maybe it’s faded over time. Pretty smooth so this could get dangerous
