Brewed again exclusively for the Tasting Room. I got a Halloween-themed sticker this time!

Rich fruit notes. Strong malty stout.

Uh. Kinda like drinking cigarette ash.

Wow,really interesting brew here. Malty nose, leads to rich roasted flavor with wine/alcohol taste hiding almost subtly in the back before taking charge. Not much head but what is there sticks to the sides and keeps an almost yeasty bubbling going on.

Lost track of how long this has been aging, at least pre COVID. It was worth the wait

Good wine aged stout. Recommend a try. More a coffee bourbon stout.

Thick velvety mouth feel, taste of coffee stout meets a jammy wine lots of oak on the finish. It has layers upon layers. This is not the perfect beer. But it may be the perfect stout. It can be stupid expensive when you find it, but give it a try.

4 years and the slight tart and red wine taste is gone. Just mellow now.

That is a tasty stout - 4.10- the everyone rating needs to get to 4.0 on this one

This has an earthy quality. I would say umami.

Rich and dark, interesting savory/tangy notes, plus a really groovy hint of wine tannins...Nice lusciousness...Nice long finish. Thanks Dan!

Aged nicely. May be a little thinner, but still great flavor.

Seemed like a good idea for a darker heavier beer for the ending CO ski season

I was really excited about this one. It's got a killer nose but the sum is less than it's parts. The toasty and jammy notes clash rather than harmonize. I don't think the four years since bottling has done it any favors.

Dark chocolate and red wine flavors with oaky and floral notes. Dry finish. Chocolate wine aroma with a light lace. Dark brown color with a heavy body. Bought in 2019.

Have had this one for a little while. Meh. Stout, wine, oak.

Chocolate, stone fruit, jam, vanilla. Almost no booze. This was bottled Oct. 2017.

A big robust stout with tannic acidity, dark chocolate bitterness, and plenty of grape and plum notes running throughout.
