Dark coffee yet sweet and so refreshing on the palate. Dogfish Head you did it again.

Crisp and smooth. Deep, sweet roastiness. Coffee and dark chocolate flavors with the faintest notes of grape. Excellent brew to close out 2020.

Today's my Sunday. It's back to the shit show tomorrow. Wonder what I should be expecting.

2017 release apparently. Been cellaring for a while. Delightfully smooth, subtle vanilla and other oak notes, a little whiff of smoke that I don't remember being there before but it works with the dark jammy fruits. Lovely business

Breaking into the vault today. This is from July ‘18. The cherry notes on the finish have gotten more tart but that smoothness is still there and even more than I remember.

Real good, did not expect the grape/wine bit to compliment but it did for sure

Rich and dark, interesting savory/tangy notes, plus a really groovy hint of wine tannins...Nice lusciousness...Nice long finish. Thanks Dan!

Thick velvety mouth feel, taste of coffee stout meets a jammy wine lots of oak on the finish. It has layers upon layers. This is not the perfect beer. But it may be the perfect stout. It can be stupid expensive when you find it, but give it a try.

1st had from my 4 pack in 2017. Let this warm! 7 yrs later & still a good brew w/ the Syrah wine grape dominating a bit over the RIS (55/45). Still an unique taste when fresh. Aging nicely but will drink my last (must of shared one 😁) sooner than later.

Coping with covid, snagged a few of my favs and some new ones to try. This being a favorite Imperial stout. Love the tangy grape twist.

Light toasty nose with silky mouthful and sweet jammy finish. Slightly smoky.

Aged two years. Not sure how much I can discern that fact. I guess I’d have to try side by side. The grape must still makes a lovely appearance. Balanced, lively and interesting. An excellent, unique RIS both fresh and aged.

CRYING because it’s my last one. And at just over 3 years old, it’s just as good...if not better than I remember. 😭🍇

Oh my goodness. Criminally underrated. Shoutout gabe and the gang over at home grizzown for the taste. Happy dollar brew day!

Chocolate, stone fruit, jam, vanilla. Almost no booze. This was bottled Oct. 2017.

Seemed like a good idea for a darker heavier beer for the ending CO ski season

After these of aging it still has its wine kick to it. DFH doesn't disappoint!

Been sitting on this bottle for almost 2 years, had plenty of others before it. This is the best by far. The oak barrel and grapes give it a great winey flavor up front with a great woody/roasty finish.

Liking it a bit more than the last time I tried it. Picking up the grape flavor a bit more.
