This is one of the best s’mores beers I’ve had. It has a wonderful aroma, a great mouth-feel, and the stout’s bitter component is entirely chocolate-based. The other flavors bloom as the beer warms up a bit.

For the record, this is the first year (2020) of this beer, I see from the DFH 2021 schedule they plan to release a 2021 version. I’m glad bc this is really good.

Chocolate throughout until you get the last drop and it finishes with marshmallow...

Thin, beige head, very dark brown appearance, and minimal lacing. Nose- muted dark bread crust & spices. Flavor- a touch of sour milk, with subtle spices, mild bitterness, and sweetness. The body is medium, and one can detect powder. Semi-sweet finish.

Not too sweet, but oddly tastes like chocolate milk in a very pleasant way.
