Scored a few of these, not sure if they're all 2014 or 15 , or a mix. Had one chilled and wasnt feeling it. Minimal fig/date, but this one at room temp is exactly what i wanted. Gonna save the rest for a late night one and done.

Aging these bottles is such a treat. Incredibly smooth, drinking more like a VSOP than a barley wine. I made the correct decision of drinking it at 60 degrees, bringing the sweetness of the dates to the front, with the earthy figs balancing the act

Man it’s been a week. Nothing a 2015 15% barley wine can’t fix. Raisins, dates, brown sugar and malt dominate but it’s got some IBUs to it like a West Coast/American barley wine combo. Delicious.
