Tyrnilambic Baie D'Argousier (2022) j

Kyle might have found it enjoyable, but I found it mediocre. The brinyness reminded of sweet sweat to a point. Or a trip to the neather parts. Which, I guess, it's a great core memory. Second time I have it. Don't care for a third.

Oak-Aged Vanilla World Wide Stout (2017) j

This aged magnificently for a large production beer. Vanilla and bourbon on the nose are still prevalent. Thick, dark pour with a light brown head. Rich, smooth body with lots of caramel, burnt wood, and chocolate. Still boozy and very malty.

120 Minute IPA (2017) j

Bombastic, boozy, malty, and brandy like. Still boozy as heck. A little more syrupy than fresh, which is always the course of this beer.

Fruit-Full Fort j

This did not age well. Fruit is gone, leaving a very boozy and uninspired drink. Pretty much malt and alcohol at this point. Not sure if I aged wrong or just not a DFH that lends itself to keeping.

Saint Lamvinus (2021) j

This was one fizzy vinegar. Poured a deep violet with a sweet nose. Very acidic, definitely great with a moldy cheese or some Smoky charcuterie

Olde School (2015) j

Aging these bottles is such a treat. Incredibly smooth, drinking more like a VSOP than a barley wine. I made the correct decision of drinking it at 60 degrees, bringing the sweetness of the dates to the front, with the earthy figs balancing the act

World Wide Stout (2015) j

Agreed amazingly, although still incredibly busy. Smoky barley with coffee notes. A little bitter in the back end, not sure if its oxygenation or the age showing. Still one fantastic beer.

Oude Geuze Boon - Bone Dry Mikkeller Selection j

Dry finish, bitter and funky palate, danky nose. 0.25 discount because the cork exploded when I opened the bottle and indented my ceiling.

50 Degrees N - 4 Degrees E (2020) (Cognac) j

Check in one thousand. So we might as well have a perfect beer.

Fou' Foune j

The grandaddy of them all. One of the few beers in my list to get 5 stars. 2018 vintage, peachy fruitiness underlying a funky, tart palate.

Giving it less than 5 would be absurd.
