Roasty, malty, not overly sweet, a smooth ride from seven years ago.

Agreed amazingly, although still incredibly busy. Smoky barley with coffee notes. A little bitter in the back end, not sure if its oxygenation or the age showing. Still one fantastic beer.

On tap at Capone’s Pliny The Younger Annual Event. Big, creamy, & an oh-my-goodness amount of bitterness, which is surprising - maybe it’s the age, maybe it’s 2015 vintage itself? Who knows. Bakers chocolate is heavily present. Big beers are fun to drink.

Didn't age as well as prior years, it didn't get sweeter but it did get more bitter and more noticeably boozy. Still good, just doesn't hit expectations

Pulled from the cellar. I've had heavily aged WWS and they're usually super mellow. This one retained a good bit of heat. Could probably have gone a few more yrs. Regardless, still a world class beer.

Held on to this one for a while. After this week, and RBG passing, we needed it.
