Primitive Flora

IPA - American

Primitive Flora IPA is brewed with pilsener malt, malted wheat and naked oats blended with a touch of 4-year-old barrel-aged wild ale for complexity. The aroma is an amalgam of tropical fruit, citrus peels, oak and fresh herbs derived form a healthy dryhop of hop varieties with wild lineage: Amarillo, Comet, Sabro and Strata.

This one doesn’t work for me. The barrel throws off the balance.

Folks, the impossible has happened: an IPA I can enjoy. Jason doesn't hate this.

I can definitely recognize the pilsner malts, and it has a lighter body. Surprised it clocks in at 7.5%. Can appreciate the hops, but not bitter. Clear light pilsner yellow color, but is an IPA! Pilsner IPA with light body and heavier ABV 🤯

Interesting combination with light flavors enhanced with the barrel aged. Disappointed in the overall beer selection this visit

Amazing beer. Very full, but an easy drink. Love the mix of floral, fruity and hop taste.

2nd right. Lots of lemon and lime, sweet and tangy. Pilsner malt without offensive flavors to me.
