This is a great Fall beer with all of the spices. I don’t taste much pumpkin. It’s still a good beer though.

Taste a little different than I recall from last year. A little more spice?

October Eve, first pumpkin beer of the year. Malt forward, subtly sweet, charred pumpkin.

Different riff on Shipyard's Pumpkinhead. The spices are nice and the brown ale is good. It's full and warming. Great cold evening beer.

A great brown ale with a healthy dose of cinnamon, brown sugar and pumpkin meat. It's spicy and sweet and malty. Thanks T B.

Has a very cinnamon feel to it. Not super sweet, which I like. Very good brew

A lot lighter in color than most pumpkin beers or brown beers (as it is labeled). Guessing the flavors will become more prominent as it warms.

More pumpkin-y than most I’ve tried, & even a bit spicy, but without the sweet, which to me is important. I don’t like to drink something that smells like a candle.

I am not sure if it was a storage issue but after 5-6 drinks (sips??) it became bitter and unpalatable. I will give this a second chance. Also, spice overpowers pumpkin flavor

I think pumpkin beers are getting better as the competition heats up! Love the gourd but used to hate the brews, not I tolerate em much more. This year's punkin is pretty alright! While a lot of Dogfish Head brews get worse, this seems to go upstream!
