A treat to have this again. Massive booze. Strong smooth and rich malt. Bitterness is still there and it tastes like apricot and marmalade. It’s got big booze but it still hides the 18 abv so well. Definitely Bareley Wine like.

Bottled 08/30/19. Much more mellow than some of the other bottles I've had.

$3 over Binny’s price. My favorite beer of all time. Couldn’t walk away.

It has been too long since I have had one of these. CBC still had some 2019 (as my friends say #LynchburgDumb). Some complain about the booze, but it is a big part of what makes this so good. Very smooth for how strong it is.

This is much better than the 2006 and 2007 vintages I have had lately. It actually has some aspect of an IPA in flavor. But very malty. I stand by my assertion that this is MUCH better in tap than it is out of a bottle.

Catch up - almost perfect but for these guys and this brew, just shy on a few levels, and not as sweet as desired especially since the last couple years we’re on the better train. But again, this in a legendary IPA in its perfect Dogfish Head glassware

Bottled on 8\23/19. Deliciously thick and syrupy. Hop stickiness.

I was about to start this book, than The Umbrella Academy got me. DOPE SHOW! Man this thing is good. Top 10 beer for sure and just under Mc2 for top IPA. Gonna age the other one for another year or so. Beautiful beer.

Like I’ve always said about this monster of a beer, it’s really an American barleywine

120 IBUs & 21% ABV, officially Strongest Beer I've ever tasted! Hoppy, acidic, bitter...almost like an herbal beer liqueur. Sweet caramely malts almost taste raisiney or brown sugar & drink as warming as sherry. Hops: strong orange, grapefruit & resin.

Haven’t had one of these in awhile. Boozy awesomeness which I love. This beer is definitely one of my all time favorites.

Better with some age on it. Thank you UVA for the NCAA tourney win and prize.

FRAFOGB. Wildly boozie for an ipa but I'd like to try it again on it's own
