Flavia Flav

Pale Ale - American

This beer features a new winter barley variety called Flavia. Originally bred in Germany, it is particularly suited to growing on the Delmarva Peninsula. We ran this one through our extensive QA program and we really like the grassy, crackery counterpoint it provides to a relatively large dose of dryhops. We offer it as a hazy pale ale brewed with just Flavia malt and juicy blend of Galaxy and El Dorado hops. It's super crushable and loaded with hoppy goodness. Yeah boyeee!

Not my choice, but my wife's, but it really was nice. It was everything as advertised with no surprises.

Nice melony, fruity hop nose. Good fruity hops up front on the palate. Light prickly bitterness. Light body. Very good low-abv ipa.
