This is one heck of a boozy stout. Thin in the mouth (not a bad thing), this stout packs a ton of barrel-aging. The barrel-aging on this beer is great. I taste a lot of barley wine. Very good.

A lot going on here. Booze. Port notes. Slight tartness probably from the cherries. I’m on the fence here. It is definitely interesting. Very complex. Low score for now, will revisit as it ages.

Barreled aged in Sam Adams Utopias barrels. Crazy smooth for 18%. Wow

Ummm…ok, well here is the thing…the nose is, as the Reverend would say, amazing. As I would say, it’s thin, yet tasty, but, gosh I don’t know, just thin!’

Perfect beer to share with some great friends. Thanks King GigglePuss

Absolutely incredible. The amazing malty, dark fruit flavors of world wide stout are further enhanced by the subtle hints of utopias the barrel aging brought. It's actually difficult to break down all the nuances present.

The alcohol will really sneak up on ya. Rich, dark, and boozy. Delicious. Better as it warms up. Poured with good carb but the head dissipated nearly instantly.

Boozy beast. Little thin. Good sweet notes upfront with a booze background on the finish

A Masterpiece! Strong in alcohol, aroma and taste it makes it unique

So thin. Almost more of a strong ale kinda feel. For 17.3%, it's almost kinda tasteless. Guess I'll sit on my other bottles and hope for some complexity down the road. I was foolishly expecting way more than this.

It’s a bit boozy, not hot, but intense! Thanks John. Eagles NOT ready for prime time.

Awesome flavor. Super thin but the flavor makes up for it. Bigger fan than I expected.

A very nice bourbon barrel-aged Stout made by Dogfish. Starts malty and slightly coffeeish with a caramel and vanilla yet bourbon bozzy finish. Aged on Sam Adams Utopias barrels. Pride of Delaware

Fruity up front. Lots of port barrel character. Completely different from world wide stout

Prefer last year’s more, but this is very good considering the expansion
