A bucking bronco of a beer. This beer pounds figs and raisins into your palate until you cry then it turns into boozy chocolate until you are lulled into a dark slumber. Insane 17.3% abv behemoth. Your olfactories will be assaulted.

Delayed from Sunday… Decided to conclude my 18 days off with this delicious stout. Cheers!

Wow. Oaky, toffee for sure. And just packs a huge punch. Really dang good. Also might need to track down utopia in 2023 after having this

Phenomenal. Gifted by the inimitable Brian Cox. Delicious.

This beer is stupid. For lack of a better description, this beer is basically Kirkland-brand Utopias. Which is by no means a bad thing!

Insanely good. Exactly what I expected. Boxy, warming, barrel-forward and rich.

Jeez this is strong. Very flavorful. I like the warm, sharp barley taste. Such a great barrel aged stout.

Little thin but understandable with how boozy it is. Boozy in a good way.

This is interesting. The boozy alcohol rides on top of the subtle chocolate caramel flavors. Delicious.

There comes a certain point where you can't fault a beer. It's delicious. Nothing negative to say about it. This is that beer. Damn.

The essence of a bourbon barrel in the form of a beer. Highly recommended.

First sip packs a PUNCH. Second sip you can start to appreciate the flavors. This is really, really well rounded for something with this high of an ABV.

Sweet caramel; Sherry; dark fruit. The barrel notes moderate the roastiness of the base.

What. A. Journey. Extraordinarily complex. I get lots of sherry/port aroma. Taste: bourbon spice/burn, eventually some caramel. Finish burns the gums and then swirls around for nearly five minutes. Not all that dark or thick. This is hard to rate...
