Had the unaged many times, but first barrel aged. Super smooth. Alcohol hidden super well, but it still packs a wallop. Honestly thought the utopias thing would be marketing bs, but it's a very enjoyable beer.

Seemed appropriate on Black Friday. Lots of sweetness with lots of kick to go with it, roasty and dark. Delicious!

Strong utopias flavor and influence. Somewhat of a rough bitter finish. Wonderful beer.

Strong alcohol finish. Pours almost black. Chocolatety, raisiny, boozy taste and nose.

Heavy hitter, made BCBS feel like a light beer. Great flavor, balanced barrel.

Intensely boozy, with legitimate Utopias character. The underlying stout is big and chocolatey, with a fairly bitter finish.

Thin little carbonation. Starts out with hocolate, molasses, raisins and prunes, then it's all barrel, bourbon, port, oak, with plenty of barrel heat.

Sharp barrel but warms fantastically, not nearly as thick as it could be but delicious. I’m sold.
