Very heavy and complex. Lots of roasty notes, lots of dark fruit, lots of chocolate. Delicious.

Phenomenal! What a bouquet of tastes. Some fruit, chocolate, malt and that great little booze burn in the finish. I’ve been drinking some great brews lately but nothing tops this. It’s the sipper of all sippers

So very smooth, very boozy and warm as it sits. Closest I’ll be to Utopias unlike EK!

Hard for anything to live up to the hype this has in my head. It is super good- complex, shockingly smooth for 17.3%

Smooth, not overly boozy stout. Definitely one of the best I've had. Hard to believe this is a high ABV but it sneaks up on you. Awesome

My favorite example of World Wide Stout. There's a big, classic stout in there but these barrels bring in a brandy type quality with a lot of caramel. It's boozy but in the proper way.

Deep, inky pour. Boozy, plummy, raisin nose. Rummy. Sweet but not overly so. Dark fruits. Alc prominent. More so in finish. Pairing with cannoli. DFL.

Delicious! There's a little hint of something tart in here.

Very good. Can taste the utopias effect on the stout.

This is very complex. I get a strong boozy cognac flavor that finishes slightly sweet. Seems very thin on the mouthfeel, since the abv is higher than usual it's very viscous and slick. Dark fruit and malt linger on the palate.

Smooth, complex, sure the flavors will be even deeper as it warms up.

DFH may have set a new bar for barrel aged stouts with this IMHO. Outstanding. My new favorite BA stout ever. Love it.

This is simply magnificent. Good cold. Good warm. Just damn good. I need to have Utopia at some point. I love World Wide stout and love this, so really need to have one at one point to wrap it all together.

This did it. Lay this in your cellar so long you have to buy a fucking headstone for it and I'm sure it will be legendary. Amazing malt on utopias sweet molasses and raisin like character on the stout makes this hit perfect. Great barrel tones.

Aromas and flavors of raisin and prune, strong booziness, also flavors of apricot, peach, smoothed out with dark chocolate; finishing with a tannic dryness. (Photo: unopened bottle of 2021 Utopias; I also have 2 unopened bottles of U 2019.) 17.3%ABV

Boozy, but how could it not be? Less body than expected, but actually just right, not syrupy. The barrel aging adds almost a cognac like flavor to it. Has notes of dark chocolate and stone fruit. Low bitterness.

Slightly boozy nose, w/ a thick malty body of intense malt, chocolate, and toffees. Finishes thick and smooth, w/ amazing flavor. Never had Utopias, but this is killer! Glad I got to try a bottle of this year’s. Stay safe and healthy everyone.
