Some people will say this is hot, but I think it’s smoother than the normal BA version- there is a bourbon burn, but it’s not unbalanced, and I feel like the alcohol is hidden well. Great beer.

Very bourbon forward, but strangely not boozy. Rich chocolate and prune, caramel, oak, super smooth wheated bourbon. The finish comes together gorgeously. Probably going to age really well

Finally get to check in this monster. 18.7% ABV is well-hidden by strong barrel presence and notes of brown sugar, caramel, and sweet licorice. I concur with the “thin” comments, but this should age very well. Look forward to trying one every year, RVW!

So unique. Surprisingly light in color, some classic wws attributes up front but quickly steps aside to let the bourbon notes shine. I'm not a bourbon guy but this is intense in such a fun way. Thanks Nigel B.
