Sometimes dogfish heads more experimental beers tend to crash and burn. This one works very clean and fresh pilsner

Immediate scent of green grapes while pouring. Taste is crisp, slightly bitter earthy flavor, grain + hops. Hints of snap peas and dark greens like kale. Made from Kernza grain which is wheatgrass so, yeah, that kind of profile. Unique and eco friendly!

13 Beers 13 Original Colonies. Delaware. Quite nice. In fact, I wish I had brought more. Refreshing, tiny malty backbone. Sweet. Love it.

All American meal... Barbecue brisket, corn in the cob, potato salad, and a nice pilsner.

The kernza grain adds a pronounced grainy flavor. Makes it kind of rustic tasting. It's a bit too much for my liking. And it detracts from the hoppy snap finish I want in a pilsner.
