It’s been almost 7 years since I’ve had this big boy. Not sure what I expected, but very malty and sweet on the nose. Where this shines is really on the palate, creamy, balanced buttery and bitter hops, and drinks well below the high abv.

You definitely get the sugar from the high ABV but the bitterness helps offset that. It's got a great balance between bitterness and sweetness. Slainté!

It's all the things. With extra. Massive aroma. Super bitter but not bitey. Boozy but not difficult. It's quite an experience. Edit. Changed to the 2022 version. It's 'only' 16.8%, not the 18% craziness.

More red this year. The spice/malt/hop balance is incredible. Will forever be the best ipa man makes.

Smooth and delicious, the typical piney and hoppiness of the 120 minute was severely subdued by the aging. Very good beer.

Happy Thanksgiving! Beautifully sweet caramel malty triple IPA, with peppery and piney hops to back it up. Treasure brought back from the US by my friend Rick.

Wow what a great surprise. Ordered not knowing the beer. Ton of flavor - lots of malt, spunky. This is really really good. Nate - you MUST try this.
