All Day Haze M

I mean, it's got haze, but I can't honestly taste a lot of difference between this one. Less refreshing crispness, more soft hoppiness. Not much of the juicy tropical fruit notes you would expect from a hazy. Still, enjoyable and crushable all the same.

All Day Chill Day M

It's 4pm on a Friday and I've already put 20000 steps on the ol' pedometer. Time for a beer, and this cold IPA craze is starting to grow on me. Sharply hoppy, yet refreshing and light.

Definitely sessionable. Light, a bit thin, but well-carbonated and perfectly hoppy.

Deliciously sweet and boozy. Pairs well with making crêpes for supper.

Helping Ted clear out old bottles. This one was thinner than I expected. We didn't feel it aged well, so didn't finish it. Not rated because I can tell this bottle wasn't representative of the batch.

Rosé de Gambrinus M

Helping Ted clear out old bottles. We tried, but couldn't finish this one. The cork had rotted. Too funky, and flabby mouthfeel. Not rated, as this bottle is not representative of its kind.

120 Minute IPA M

Delicious delicious gift via Grand Forks ND from my friend Rick. The bottle says "Ages well"... I let it age about 10 minutes before pouring it up to go with MtG Commander night with the guys!

Blushing Monk (2015) M

For an 8-year-old beer, we were very pleased with this one. Full raspberry fruitiness, but neither too sweet nor tart. Strong but not boozy. Very enjoyable. Courtesy of my friend Ted's cellar.

KBS M

Pretty much a perfect barrel-aged imperial stout. Strong and coffee and boozy and all of those are positives. A treasure my friend Rick brought back from Grand Forks.

120 Minute Ipa (2022) M

Happy Thanksgiving! Beautifully sweet caramel malty triple IPA, with peppery and piney hops to back it up. Treasure brought back from the US by my friend Rick.

90 Minute Imperial IPA M

A beautiful beer on a beautiful day. Deliciously full and malty, but with such a pleasant grapefruit hoppy bitterness. Another treasure brought back from the US by my friend Rick. Thanks Rick!

A treasure from my friend Rick, recently brought back from the US. What a perfect brew to follow the Duvel! Strong but not boozy. Great Belgiany clove and banana sweetness. Enjoyed with Calgary and Inverness!
