Nice red flavor. Tart but still has an ale taste. Not bad

This was pretty damn good. A little sweeter than I generally steer, but great flavor.

Slightly past its best before, way past its best in general. Rather oxidised overall, but underneath some pleasant caramel and toffee remain. Finishes on an acetic note reminiscent of the Rodenbach that is blended in.

Similar to a "Mad Elf" in its cherry-ness. Not what I'd expect for a red ale but good!

It's a fun idea. Starts similar to Rodenbachs Grand Cru with cherry and dark fruit but nose dives quickly into something less remarkable than the beer it comes from.

Really thought I'd like this more, based on the description! 😀 But it's akin to a toned-down limbic to me. Balanced, initially a touch sweet before turning down the path to tartness, then stopping just short. 😜
