I came into this with low expectations…. I hate juniper. I hate gin. Maybe juniper needles only impart some piney notes. Regardless, it looks like a weak NEIPA, tastes like a soft herbal WCIPA… but it hits the spot.

Leans heavier into the citrus than the juniper. Not bad but just not what I prefer.

decent but its the first non-southern tier ipa ive had in weeks so i am thoroughly enjoying it

Uniquely flavored NE ipa with good mouthfeel, medium hoppiness, light haze, interesting fragrance and a hard-to-pin-down/citrusy/orangey/piney/slightly gin-twinged taste from the juniper needles/berries. An acquired taste for sure.

Very resinous from the juniper but not harsh. Gives a slightly unique twist to a solid IPA.

Kveik, check. Flavorings add up to "pleasantly herbal." Would not say it tastes like an IPA but it is quite nice.

A little soapy, a little hoppy, floral, fragrant. A nice surprise.
