Had this beast on the shelf for 3 years waiting for a good snow shoveling day. It did not disappoint. Subtle vanilla and bourbon barrel oak flavors with an excellent malt backbone. The age absolutely cut the booziness down and pushed all the other flavors

Not typically a huge dogfish fan but this goes above and beyond. Nice vanilla profile mixed with bourbon and chocolate goodness.

Smooth. Only need a few sips for that Vanilla to really pop.

Nice. Good barrel character. Not a ton of carbonation left on this one but still tasty.

olives in brine oxidation. still great depth and intensity despite the age. chocolate still echoing strong, caramelly notes too

Managed to find a bottle with a fill date of 7/17. It has really held up quite well. Still syrupy sweet with huge vanilla notes. Chocolate and bourbon on the nose. Woody. Quite smooth for 16%.

A pleasant twist on stout... vanilla gives it a smooth taste.
