Nectaronic Relaxation

IPA - Other

Nectaronic Relaxation is an exploration of a couple of newer hop varieties to create a lip-smacking juicy IPA. A blend of Pilsener, Wheat and Oat malts create a creamy mouthfeel balancing a generous dryhop of New Zealand Nectaron, PNW Citra and an experimental hop, ADHA218. Juicy mango, passionfruit and pineapple characters dominate with undercurrents of tangerine and stone fruit to help relax yourself and settle down.

I like the haze, this one has few unique hops.

The undercurrent of tangerine was the perfect touch. A riptide of tangerine would’ve been too much.

This is by far the best Dogfish Head Beer I’ve had! Hoppy smooth and full bodied. I do like the Nectaron!

More Pilsner than ipa. Very light on the mouth feel. But it’s a less impactful ipa. And subdued. It’s more like a session. Not hoppy at all. And light on the mouth feel. Dangerous 7% that drink like a 5%.

Really well done IPA. Blurs the American and NE styles. Subtle orange & nectarine. Really solid! Far right in picture.

A little on the sweeter side but not nearly as many fruit notes as one would think given the color/haze.
