Black Is Beautiful Vol. 2

IPA - New England / Hazy

We collaborated with our friends at San Antonio's Weathered Souls Brewing Co. to create the second release of Black Is Beautiful. This beautiful hazy IPA is brewed from a characterful blend of barley, wheat and oat malts fermented to 7% ABV. Carefully selected hops were added in liberal amounts to accentuate the natural fruit aromas of peach puree warmed by cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla and bolstered by robust moscavado sugar. Toasty crumble aromas from graham crackers round out the experience evoking sensations of delicious peach cobbler. Black Is Beautiful is an open ended collaboration brewed by breweries nation wide to support the Black Brewers Association. Proceeds will go to the development and growth of black brewers nationwide.

All my favorite beers reek of pot, yet I’ve never dabbled in pot.

Crazy weird IPA! Hazy with a bunch of sediment. It’s like a kombucha IPA. Interesting…

Clean-tasting. Light stone fruit notes, hints of spices. Mild cinnamon. Very balanced.

Simply amazing beer. They boast Nutmeg and vanilla which I was skeptic about in an IPA, but this is so smooth and they are not overbearing.
