A favorite of the female contingent on the tasting tour at the “Red Hat” in Antwerp, many Lambics have no hoppy beer taste at all. This one was a real crowd pleaser.

Not blown away by this… The aroma is more reminiscing of synthetic cherries and the taste is overbearingly sweet. The taste is lacking complexity and I also detect a hint of butteriness in the taste. Maybe a bad batch?

I am all about these aged sour ales. I personally would prefer something other than cherry but this is still amazeballs.

Good balanced kriek. Sweet and sour are in good harmony.

Boon thinks this is “kriek as it should be.” Nope. Too sweet. It’s nondescript, one-dimensional, overpriced, low abv cherry something (soda?) you could drink on a hot day. It wouldn’t appeal to bums because the ABV isn’t high enough. Disappointing ripoff.
