Never had a lambic before, so wasn't sure what to expect. This is lovely, rich sour cherry with a touch of sweetness. Thought it would actually be more sour but pleasantly surprised that it wasn't.

Nom nom, cherries. Surprised I’ve never logged this in and worth it for a Silence of the Lambics badge.

Wow! Wasn’t sure where to go with this one, smells like a wine, tastes like a cider, feels like a beer, bonkers but I’m certainly not complaining!

Very tasty. Less sweet than some. Sparkling aftertaste rather than super smooth and buttery like, say, Girardin.

When I saw it was National Beer day on some calendars thought I better do my bit. Been years since I had one of these. Very drinkable with a nice tartness hit. Better search out a fruli next. #kriekkriekboooonnnn

Can't go wrong with Boon. Nicely executed Kriek showing an unbelievable cherry mouthfeel and nose. Subtle effervescence. Thin body. Lightly soured. Very juicy. Not as refined as the Oude version but more quaffable. Cool stuff.

Sampled this on a visit to Bruges a few years ago and thought I’d try it again when I saw it in the supermarket. Great balance of sweet and sour cherries. Not my usual style of beer, but quite pleasant overall.

Mijn favoriete kriek, eentje die je het hele jaar door kan drinken. Perfecte smaak van kers met een lekker zuurtje op de achtergrond.
