Ik was verrast van deze geuze, ben niet zo'n fan van, maar mooi in balans.

Horseblankety funk, damp wood, lemon peel. Lightly effervescent, a bit earthy & musty, hint of biscuit. Taste mostly follows + balanced tartness. Medium spritzy MF, tart acidic middle, some woody funk + light bitters in long, drying finish. Lovely gueuze.

Old leather and cheese rind nose. Green apple skins, vinous grapes, lots of sharp lactic acidity. Sweet vintage cider notes. Very smooth. Warming oaky/corky body. Sweet towards the finish. Tartness fades to an appley sweetness. Creamy finish.

Flowers and wood. Very easy drinking despite the quite high abv. Sour just so. Good.

Leuk fruitig aroma en een goede, milde smaak. Prijs/kwaliteit meegerekend een uiterst degelijk bier.

Een lichte en zachte zoetzuur biertje. Neigt naar appeltjes en is droog in de afdronk.
