This had all the hallmarks of the classic geuze, perhaps needed a little bit longer in the bottle. Soft tart and a touch of acidity alongside an oaky and leathery spine, not as long on the palette as I expected but does have a certain nice astringent end

Équilibré, acidité légère qui voyage en début de bouche, s'estompe rapidement avec une petite amertume, astringente, sèche un peu le palet

Cheers Dom for the Christmas beer. Like nothing I’ve ever drink before. Fizzed up like a cider pouring it in the glass. Strange beer.

Smells sour, a bit oaky, restrained, fruity, soft, not as bombastic as other gueuzes can be. Tastes sour, acidic, notes of oak, fruity, soft, spritzy, bubbly, almost anonymous in its flavor profile
