Collab with Rodenbach. Departure from Grand Cru, not very tart at all. Notes of vanilla on top of cherry. Oak, caramel malt.

Massive hazelnut aroma. The taste is much more subdued. Nicely sweet blend of hazelnut, chocolate, bourbon, and coffee. Great change of pace for KBS.

Bottle Shop Series Highball Drifter c
Pre-bonfire warmup beer. Homage to an old fashioned with bourbon, smooth vanilla caramel, note of orange peel and some cherry and raisin. Light and thinner, like a cocktail, but rich.

Taste is Belgian funk, clove, citrus fruit, banana. Not sure what the agave provides. It's not as sweet as some Belgian tripels. Tight carbonation. Hides the 10% ABV and drinks easy.

Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2016) 12.4% c
After 7 years, has lost some carbonation, but still great. So smooth, not boozy. Bourbon and coffee have receded to background. Chocolate more prominent. Just the dessert beer I needed.

Aged almost 9 years for no good reason, but still delicious. Lots of sweet raspberry, only slightly tart.

Lot of apple, some cayenne flavor and a little heat, black pepper. Not getting cilantro (it's an old bottle). More a cider than a beer, but interesting.

Citrus and pine, earthy. Finishes bitter. Good on a cold night after a run in the woods.

From Friday night, GET HO HO HO! eve. Starting strong. 2017 vintage, think it got better with age. Malt liquor, bourbon, finishes caramel, vanilla.
