Devil Dancer (2015)

IPA - Triple

Founders most complex, most innovative, most feared and yet most revered ale produced. Massive in complexity the huge malt character balances the insane amount of alpha's used to create this monster. More IBU's than any brewery has documented, more than you would believe and dry-hopped for twenty-six days straight with a combination of 10 hop varieties. Dangerously drinkable and deliciously evil. We dare you to dance with the Devil.

First beer in the new house! I dug deep into the collection for this baby. Slightly more on the malt and of course less hops but still complex, delicious. As usual, fantastic.

2015 Devil Dancer. Holy cow it still kicks ass. Listed as a triple ipa at 12%. It has always been close to a barley wine in my view and after 7 years I say it is one now. Strong bitterness up front but sweetness at the end.

Dusty old barley boi. Smells excellent - caramelly AF. Bitter tasting notes, but a bit thicker than when fresh and certainly less hop notes.

For science! Courtesy of Doug! Surprisingly drinkable, like an extra hoppy Bigfoot!

Pretty much a barleywine at this point. Still has the alcohol burn 🔥 6 years later! Enjoyable. Caramelly

Aged well, it’s malty like a barley wine, smooth, somewhat sweet. Hops at the finish.

So smooth with a malty slight hop finish. This beer hasn’t to be my all around favorite triple

Aged down to a very complex american barleywine. I'd like it better now.

Aroma is like an American Barley Wine. Tastes like Barley Wine with bitterness with a slight hop flavor.
