Oak-Aged Vanilla World Wide Stout (2017)

Delicious! Lots of dark brown sugar. Notes of figs, dates, and vanilla. It feels like a pastry stout but isn’t cloying. Aged well!

Backwoods Bastard (2023)

Wow this one was delicious. A lot more caramel to round it up. I don’t think I’ve ever noticed a marked difference within the same batch/year (aging aside).

Backwoods Bastard (2023)

Caramel and Scotch on the nose. Lots of oak, smoky notes, a hint of bitter chocolate. Seems thin though.

90 Minute Imperial IPA

Started sweet and syrupy but it got better.

Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2016) 11.9%

Big bourbon and dutch processed cocoa notes. Some coffee roast. Delicious 4.6

World Wide Stout (2019)

It’s extremely intense. Dark fruit, sweet/honey, caramel, boozy. Lots of alcohol. A sipper.

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge (2020)

Smells like brownies! Lots of coffee like the regular KBS, plus a nice residual sweetness. The alcohol is so well hidden it’s dangerous. Tasty!

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2019)

Very creamy, chocolatey, and some Bourbon. The coffee is past its prime and it has an old aftertaste to it. Maple still there though!
