Utopias Barrel-Aged 120 Minute IPA Gregor

Different. Big boozy malts on the nose. Taste is caramel, molasses, and honey briefly with background alcohol heat. Rolls into strong bitter notes alongside fading malts and subtle oak.

KBS Blueberry Gregor

Roast coffee and chocolate notes hit first. Blueberry soon after but almost indecipherable and with a tart/acidic bump I didn't expect. On the fence with this one.

Citrus Squall Gregor

The grapefruit hits upfront with some odd tequila like notes following right behind. Some subtle lime in the background as well. I get some abv heat on the end notes. The agave dominates/lingers as an aftertase. I dont dig that.

Mandarin & Mango Crush Gregor

Having this after a soccer match. Refreshing in that context. This beer comes in a bit light on the fruit elements and, in so doing, has an almost watery consistency. Mandarin is more pronounced and hits first, followed by a more subdued mango. Ok.

French Toast Bastard Gregor

So many things on the nose. Maple, vanilla, hints of butterscotch, an edge of Kailua and ice cream. Taste is like a Maple syrup drenched French toast with vanilla, caramel, and subtle coffee at end. Solid.

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge (2022) Gregor

I get a dark chocolate hit upfront that fades to more sweet fudge with subtle maple bumps. Barrel keeps the sweetness in check.

90 Minute Imperial IPA Gregor

The malt is strong with this one. Sweet malts alongside some pine/licorice like notes. Hides the abv well but overall taste profile is relatively basic

Utopias Barrel - Aged World Wide Stout (2021) Gregor

I get dark chocolate, raisins, prune, tobacco, light vanilla, with a coffee like bitterness on the tail end. Some boozy heat evident as well as it warms.

Frootwood Gregor

Get bourbon, maple, and cherry on the nose. Strong sweet cherry upfront followed by bourbon and sweet maple that briefly overtakes the cherry. Cherry spikes again at the end with a light tart quality and also get some light oak/vanilla.

KBS Cinnamon Vanilla Cocoa Gregor

Get some strong barrel, oak, and dark chocolate flavors upfront. Abv is on display as well. Cinnamon and subtle vanilla hit on the end notes.

KBS Espresso (2020) Gregor

Espresso notes overpower some of the barrel character for me. Prefer the basic minus the espresso.

Beer To Drink Music To (2017) Gregor

Probably should have drank in 2017. Bottle from my cellar aging test batch. Reminds me of a orange dum dum pop with a licorice finish.
