SeaQuench Ale Freestone

Tart rather than sour, loads of lime, a little salt and a splurt of lemon. Not my usual thing, but "never look a gift....."

Jule Malt Freestone

Oh yes, this has everything that I like. ☕, 🍫 and roast figs to the fore, but then in come the leathery, earthy flavours. Roast banana, megool, cocoa nib, black peppercorn, smoked fig and treacle. #wheatfree. From my Father's day box.

Centennial IPA Freestone

Floral, piney and caramel aromas give flavours of same plus sweet malts and a little citrus fruit.

Backwoods Bastard Freestone

Liquorice toffee, maple, caramel, ☕, 🍫, hints of smoke, whisky, oak, vanilla and stewed plums. Unbelievably good stuff, so well balanced.

WTFH is that black stuff at the bottom of the glass? Tastes of strawberry flavouring - fake! Sink gurgled in appreciation of it.

Classic Gueuze (2022) Freestone

Baked 🍏, 🍐, 🍋 and apricot aromas. Flavours are underripe 🍑, overripe 🍏, a little funk, Parmesan cheese, old hay and backnotes of citric zests. Not as tart as you might expect. #bottleart

Lou Pepe Gueuze (2005) Freestone

Hugely sour lambic. Not at all deteriorated by its 17 years of sitting under Tone's stairs. Tasty stuff. #bottleart

Thiis is good. Coffee, cacao, 🍫 and bourbon booziness. Nice.

Nocturnal Freestone

Cacao aroma promising lots and the flavours don't let it down. 🍫, ☕, a huge hit of vanilla and cocoa and a hint of liquorice and chocolate biscuit.

Black Hole Freestone

Hci 26.4.16. Black ☕ and 🍫 abound, with raisins, treacle and liquorice and with winey nuances. Spicy and boozy aftertaste. #locale

Milk Stout Freestone

Huge apple pie and custard aroma leading to flavours of rum, port wine, redcurrant, greengage and light spices.

Violent Summer Freestone

Weird stuff this! Aroma is orange, coffee and hops. Tastes of Seville orange, malt, a hint of coffee and quite a whack of hops. Not much honey noticeable, indeed, quite dry. Not sure I'd buy another. #canart

The Penta Milkshake IPA Freestone

🍑, 🍍, apricot, orange and baked 🍏 aromas followed by flavours of bitter orange, spiced caramel, mango, marmalade and lactose. Very juicy and gullet-warming. Gotta take my ⌚ with this.

Kriek Boon Freestone

Cherry and vanilla aromas lead into sour cherry flavour with some sweetness too, a bit like cherry sherbet. Pleaaant enough.

Porter Freestone

Nutty coal-like aroma leads to flavours of bitter 🍫, heavy roast ☕, toasted chestnuts and salted caramel. Long and lingering aftertaste of espresso. #bottleart

Game of Thrones - Iron Anniversary IPA Freestone

Aromas of pineapple, mango, grapefruit and seville orange and flavours of the same. Very tropical and floral, juicy and sweet, yet dry and moreish. Very long. #wheatfree #canart.

Henry Gose Lightly Freestone

👃 Is gooseberry and lemon, and flavour is similar. Very tart and rquite salty. Who needs alcohol? Great #canart as you expect from Mikkeller.

Black Freestone

Seems they are brewed at different strengths, this is 15. Impressive head, boozy ☕/🍫 nose and flavours begin bitter 🍫, coal tar and espresso, giving way to muscovado, stewed prunes and vanilla, ending very bitter, herbal, oaky and liquorice. #wheatfree

Ich Bin Raspberry Freestone

Very raspberry and, as you might expect, uite sour. But also quite refreshing. Not my usual, but thought I'd give it a go.
