Cyllene Session Porter S

Bitter dark chocolate and roasty coffee flavours, good mouthfeel, leading to a nice chocolate and coffee finish, with a subtle hint of smoke.

Nocturnal S

Light chocolate, cocoa, and vanilla. Initially sweet, with a drying bitterness developing in the finish. Solid.

Orbital Movement S

Juicy tropical fruit, with a little citrus zing, some subtle herbal notes, leading to a soft, fruity finish.

Nicely balanced tropical, citrus, and stone fruit flavours, smooth, creamy, mouthfeel, just a hint of bitterness in the finish, with no hint of its hefty ABV. Nice.

Spritzy lemon and lime, subtle spicy notes, crisp, refreshing finish.

Crisp, citrus and floral, subtle herbal notes, some bitterness in the finish. Decent.

Centre. Still lovely.

Caramel malts, citrus and floral hoppiness, , some sweetness, with a little bitterness developing in the finish.

Chaaarge Nitro Dry Stout S

Hard nitro pour. Creamy chocolate, subtle roasty maltiness, elusive smokey notes, with a smooth, slightly bitter, finish. Previous reviews have been a little harsh. This is pretty tasty for 4%.

Porter S

Still a very solid traditional hoppy US porter. Hoping my latest homebrew comes out something like this one.

Kentucky Bourbon Stout (KBS) (2021) S

Dark chocolate, coffee, boozy Bourbon warmth, some bitterness in the finish.

Kriek Boon S

Right. Approachably fruity, slightly tart. Even Darren K. might like this one.

Russia Stout S

Creamy, roasty, dark chocolate and malts, with some good bitterness in the finish. Smooth and very drinkable.

Spontankonatsu S

Tart citrus fruitiness, notes of lime, with a mouth-puckering tart finish. Good.

Crisp and lemony, with a pleasant bitterness in the finish.

Oude Geuze Boon (2018-2019) S

A solid, approachable Geuze. Slightly tart lemon fruitiness and funk, subtle woody and spicy notes, with a spritzy, refreshing finish.
