Classic Gueuze (2022) Dark Mild
Relatively still Gueuze, certainly not as carbed as other vintages. Nearly two years in the bottle and there’s still a prominent sharp sweetness. Not a ton of mustiness yet.

Interesting revisiting this after 5 years. There’s still a bit of that stonefruit quality but definitely a far more musty, farmyard-y character developing. There’s a real sharp acidity in there now and a more pronounced white wine character.

What better way to see out 2022 than with a Fou. Other years have definitely had a bolder apricot taste but this still has soft soft stone fruit notes and a lovely acidic Tartness. Happy new year!

Hallo Ich Bin Berliner Double Raspberry Dark Mild
Very thick, very creamy & loaded with tart raspberry. Such a good example of the Berliner style.

Rosé de Gambrinus (2019) Dark Mild
Cork shot out, very lovely & very well carbed. Subtle, delicate raspberry flavours.

Near to faultless. Vinous, with that merlot grape really coming to the fore. Sharp, with that distinct cantillon funk nestled in the background. Worth waiting out 2 odd years for!
