Not a fan of the smell. Astringent and harsh. Flavor is kind of classic rhubarb — earthy, citrusy, astringent, and slightly bitter. Well made but definitely not my favorite.

Pretty solid. On the thinner side but decent hop flavor. Not bad.

Magnificent. Shockingly pairs excellent with Real Chili

KBS Cinnamon Vanilla Cocoa B

Muddled flavors. Not much cocoa other than cacao-nib bitterness. Zero vanilla. Some cinnamon. Not much barrel character on the nose or palate. Come on Founders!

Haven’t had this one in a while! I forgot how malty it is. I think I prefer the straight hop flavors of a hazy (e.g. SN Summer Break) in a session IPA rather than maltier notes.

Did not hold up with age at all. Nose was like a Belgian dark — all plum and date and brown sugar. Not a ton of barrel character left. Zero coffee. Don’t let these sit for three years...
