Beautiful sweet maple note on the KBS backbone. Dangerously drinkable.

KBS Blueberry Horan

It's acceptable. Still has the good body you expect from KBS, but the blueberry and coffee notes are discordant. Maybe my least favorite KBS.

Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2019) Horan

Still delicious. Aging well, coffee came through strongly. Not a ton of mouth feel, but still very tasty.

Coffee note is better melded with the KBS flavor with some age. Still tastes too much like an old pot of coffee though.

Velvet Rush Horan

Hasn't aged well. Coffee is getting an acrid note. Need to finish soon.

Panther Cub (2021) Horan

This is okay. More sour tang than I was expecting. It's not spoiled, though the adjuncts may have fallen off. Maple in the finish.

KBS Espresso Horan

Coffee nose, big coffee flavor. Minor hops, good mouthfeel- not overly thick and not watery.

It's a tasty dessert forward beer. There's better Founders offerings out there, and I think their other raspberry beers are better too.

Punkin Ale 2021 Horan

It's a classic. Much better "beer" flavor than most pumpkin ales. Not as sweet as Pumking, which isn't a bad thing - just different.

Sweet and delicious. Great to share. Tons of vanilla, some coffee, very dessert-like.

Same classic as always. Plenty of barrel flavor, some oily mouthfeel. So good.

Super creamy vanilla bomb. Tiny bit of hop bite on the end that's almost buried under the sweet vanilla goodness. This is dessert beer through and through.
