Cuvée Saint-Gilloise (Champions) (2016) Wharton
Time has done this wonders. Lime fruit pastille still, but the acidity has faded to a pleasant tartness. Huge floral and herbal notes. White pepper, mint and chamomile alongside pink grapefruit

Love Gamma but this one isn’t for me. Anise and licorice. Floral, herbal and grassy, could use a bit more juice. Decent body and carbonic bite but the initial anise is just too strong for me

One of those beautiful times where the line between beer and wine blur. Granted it’s usually white grapes such as Riesling, but as a drinker of red wine this makes me happy. Complex, woody/oaky & rich but incredibly light and balanced with dialed acidity

Beautiful, sharp, balanced fruit additions and flavour that just carries on and on. Rhubarb is super prolific followed by a flurry of berries. Crisp, moreish and precision dialed

Malty tasty and traditional US pale like they used to make em. Marmalade on rye with bite of grapefruit and pine all backed on a sticky and biscuity backbone

rich, jammy, sharp, acetic and vinous. Nice balsamic edge. Proper smack in the gob with a fist full of sour blackcurrant.
