Dark, rich and with very clear notes of the barrel. Most likely one of the best barley wines from Denmark. The hat is off for Jesper B who scored me this one.

As always, when you pop open a Founder's Breakfast Stout of any variety, possibly barring the vanilla one, you are getting a masterpiece. Effing good job lads (and lasses).

Three years down the line, it is still full of life, and it has an excellent head on its shoulders. Milder than it uses to be, at least as far as I remember.

Chocolate, vanilla and coconut, almost a complete dessert.

A bit hard to define, other than it does not quite match the label. Coconut, coffee, and sharpness, but not any cinnamon that I notice, and weak on vanilla as well.
