Oh boy was this a heater from the bottle share session yesterday. Deliciously refreshing, funky, bright, some barrel notes in there. Just an amazing beverage.

This was a fun one but at the end of the day was just fine. Clean, some malty, and cereal notes. Maybe some fruit.

Sang Bleu (2024) Jenkins

And for my 5000th checked in beer!! It’s been a journey, and celebrated with this delicious Cantillon bottle on Friday. What a beer. It was super sour and a bit thicker than other Cantillon beers I’ve had. Extreme berry flavor. Quite decadent and tasty.

Magic Lambic (2024) Jenkins

What a beer. And yes I drank the whole bottle. I knew I had to have it when vanilla was part of tasting notes. It did not disappoint. Great berry flavor, with that vanilla to smooth out the tartness. Extremely drinkable.

Grenanche Blanc 2023 Jenkins

Also was very very nice. Sour Apple taste in there. Sweet white grapes too. Lovely.

Classic Gueuze (2023) Jenkins

Well, stopped in Brussels for the afternoon before heading home. Had to stop by. Went with the classic first. Grapey, oaky/woody backbone, and the sourness faded leaving a nice fruity finish.

Beer For Peace - Collaboration To End All Wars Jenkins

Drank too fast to take a pic but it was good! Just a nice hazy - not really a west coast.

Vignerrone (2024) Jenkins

More sweet than sour I’d say, which I didn’t expect. But still nice. Hard to compete with the Zwanze.

Zwanze 2024 - MMXXIV Jenkins

Had to get a couple Cantillon tries on while here while it’s on the menu. Wow what a complex beer. Very acidic and salty. Sort of wrecks the palate but has a nice citrusy and clean finish.

Saint Lamvinus Jenkins

2023 vintage. Insanely good. Need to procure another bottle or two of this. Just so juicy with a complex and flavorful backbone. Packs just the slightest and moorish punch with its sweet and sour taste. Amazing.

Back in London this weekend and had this Friday to celebrate the weekend. Been saving this for a month or so. Did not disappoint. You can really taste the pepper. Very well balanced.

Gueuze (2023) Jenkins

What an experience. First time at the brewery and even though I was a bit late in the day, it was still so nice. Got a selection as time wasn’t on my side. This was stunning. Just so drinkable, white wine taste, subtley tart, oaky too.

Grenache Noir 2021 Jenkins

Also just insanely good. Served out of a jug as well. Very winey, but light and bright. Poured from a jug, so room temp but just lovely taste.

Chouke Jenkins

Super smooth and easy to drink. Would go down so smooth in the hotter months. Light citrus notes, tart. Awesome stuff. Bottles 2022.

Jule Malt Jenkins

Wow what a decadent beer. Boozier than anything but it is quite smooth. Lactose galore and milky sweet. Coating mouthfeel and chocolatey.

All Night IPA Jenkins

Been meaning to try this for a long time. Loved it. A bit roasty, mostly hoppy. Good flavors but nice and light.

Breakfast Stout Jenkins

Honeslty probably the first time I’ve had this beer but it was a nightcap tonight. Also it was bottled a year ago. Still really delicious. Chocolatey, some coffee notes, with a smooth roasty taste. Not super sweet which was good.

Had a couple of these from their new mixed pack. Really great and would love to crush some on a summer day.

Liked it a lot but did not love it. Very sweet but I suppose that’s expected.

Damn. First time having cantillon on draft. Sublime. Less tart than expected but still sweet. Very smooth and fruity. Almost melt in your mouth feel.

It was good but not as tasty as I would’ve hoped. Sweet chocolate taste but dries out quite quickly leaving a bitter finish.

Pretty tasty. Very malty up front giving to a light bubbly caramel taste. Lasting bitter finish.

A fine beer. Nothing too special besides the sweet can design. Hoppy, quite easy drinking IPA.

Very sour, like toxic waste. But loved every sip. Some herbal notes added to it nicely.

Not too shabby but nothing amazing. Just a standard amber. A bit malty, not very sweet nor hoppy.
