Lightly spicy, light wheat, meh

Syrax C

White grapefruit, massive hop character with a pithy dry bitterness that isn’t overdone. Clean attenuated pale malts. Super flavourful for only 3.5%

Pithy white grapefruit, lean crackery malts, firm bitterness

Framboise Boon (2017) C

Pours a little flat, but the seedy raspberry flavour is still very nice

Holiday Ale From To (Til Fra via Mikkeller) C

Rich chocolate, dark brown bread, coffee, hints of vanilla and spice. Thank God Coltan’s not here so we can enjoy these awesome dark beers!

Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2020) C

This still drinks almost the same as it’s release year, perhaps a little more rounded, but no oxidation that I can detect. Sublime, especially for the price. Has to be a top-5 bargain-for-quality

This has some nice funk and light petroleum, but it’s a bit watery, lacking intensity

Super malty aroma and palate, fruity acidity, and hot fucking alcohol. So fucking hot

Bucket loads of sweet spicy cherries, sweetness overtakes any funky complexity, but if you love cherries then this is pretty great!

Aptly named, this is as rich as fudge. Molasses in the nose, super-fudgey palate, with additional flavours of marshmallow and thick treacle. Super heavy mouthfeel without being cloying
