Aged bottle (vintage:??). Classic barleywine on "lightly toasted oak". Brown, almost mohagany in color. Light syrupy body holds the fine carbonation and some residual yeast in suspension. Port-like sweet raisin with a toasted malt backbone. Stealthy ABV.

Surprise birthday beer #9 courtesy of Mr. babyseaturtles himself. Sweet, rich, and light, smoky toast as promised. But truthfully, none of that matters because the ABV entrances you in a soporific stupor powerful enough to see you through the Bacchanalia.
