Diggin deep in the vault tonight-bottled 04/19/18! Nose is spectac-malt bomb / grape / red licorice. Deep red hue + lots of yeast particles. Uber malty sweet - grape jam + fig. Still boozy, strong, w/ good CO2. Slow sippin while watching gnarly flick.

Always solid - and good solace right now after we lost our playoff basketball game.

Superb. Smells exactly like French toast. Tastes exactly like French toast. A tad of bitter hop flavor on the back end. Really yummy.

Funky w/ age. Bottled 04/19/18. Smells like a mix of apple juice+grape juice. Really red hue of orange; lots of yeast particles floating. Zany body-acrid, bitter, tart, and sour. Has kind of a malty sweet finish w/ a slight boozy kick. Great evolution.

Bottled 4/19/2018-aged since in a frig. Nose an acrid mix of glue stick+strawberry. Amber & crimson hue. Major bitter lemony notes mixed w/ a boozy hop bitter side. Strong-seems like something an ancient Viking requested b/f axing someone’s face in.

Spectacular. Bottled 04/19/18. Orange / amber / straw hue. Nose of malty Elmer’s glue. Good CO2. Aging is interesting - seems like a barley wine or Belgian strong ale now. Still mucho boozy, but real strong malty side balanced with hops.

Super solid KBS variant. This has way more coffee all over in place of the bourbon barrel-aging notes. Some decent chocolate character as well. Nice complex aftertaste (bitter, coffee, chocolate, hazelnut, cream, roast, sweet syrup). No booziness at all.

Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2018) Lacy
Aged version I decided to dig out (bottled 03/07/18). The bourbon notes are the heaviest now and it’s still a tad boozy. Some chocolate but the side flavors have muted. Bitter, and still good and carbonated. Good, but better in fresher form (0-12 mos).
