90 Minute Imperial IPA (2023) Lyons

Just thick sweetness and hop flavor. Not that bitter for a supposed bitter bomb. Amazing hop sweetness to me. Cruising the Chilean coast.

4 Giants Tropical Treasure Lyons

Basically a pineapple beer. So fruity.

Kriek Boon Lyons

Great vibrant cherry flavor.

Super cool way to pregame out wood fired tasting menu with one of the Kings of Belgian sour beers.

Tart but incredible amount of cherry flavor and a long beautiful tart cherry finish. Great setting for a Kreik though.

French Toast Bastard Lyons

Lots of maple. Very rich feel. Bready? Or just Power of suggestion. Don’t know how much barrel I get but a dark stout that really tastes like French toast and makes for great fireside beer.

French Toast Bastard (Barrel Aged Series 2022) Lyons

So good. Sweet and boozy and complex and well balanced. Just love this as we prep for big meal tonight.

Ultimate Oktoberfest (2022) Lyons

Just when I thought all marzen were the same. Not this. Maybe not a marzen but a big whisky flavored amber. So long and huge.

Grolsch Premium Lager Lyons

Euro pils. Remember it being hoppy and a little bitter when we lived in Europe. Now it seems so clean and mild and light bitterness at best. Suppose it’s just how my palate has changed.

Lighter than most. Maybe just crisper. Like it.

KBS Hazelnut Lyons

Lots of nice hazelnut on the dry coffee chocolate stout that is kbs. Great big boozy sipper.

Nemesis (2021) Lyons

Too bitter. Takes away all the beauty of these complex barley wines for me.
