Das Kølich Winter

I really enjoyed this. Very refreshing and quite good for the style. Slight maltyness at the back. Nice!

Stereo Mono Idaho Gem Winter

Not as hoppy as I expected. Sweet tropical notes and a very mild bitterness, like apricot pith. Great colour but the haze didn't provide a full mouthfeel. Bit watery and diluted flavours but still a good pale ale.

Beer Geek Fudgesicle BA Rye Whiskey Winter

The aroma is what gets you first. Rich cacao, sweet vanilla and an intoxicating rye whiskey mixed in there. The flavours are seriously smooth and balanced. Thick, great caramelly malt body loaded with chocolate, vanilla fudge and heks together by rye.

Near Distant Future Winter

12.3°C Very decent mouthfeel thanks to the oats. Barley sweetens it up and the wheat gives it a subtle hefeweizen feel. Roasty coffee, rich chocolate and a soft vanilla peak. You feel the ABV and it's very fitting for the style. Very nutty flavour. Yum!

Selectively Social Winter

Decent IPA. Fruity, hoppy with a sweet and tropical aroma and flavour. Bit lacking body and tasted a bit watery.

Ølectrolytes Winter

Post run IPA? Now with electrolytes?! Madness! Thankfully it's not just a great post run beer but also a fantastic session IPA! Loads of citrus, great hoppy aroma and a faint bitterness. For a session IPA this is damn well above the standard!

Black Malts & Body Salts Winter

From the 2021 Advent calendar. As lovely as last time I had it. Less hoppy, more mocca. Good body for a BIPA and a nice bitterness to it. Still not convinced by the style but this is a damn fine way to try it out.

Same as last time. Tremendous and incredibly easy to drink. No sign of the 13%

#07 DIPA Winter

LCI A very juicy and enjoyable DIPA. Strong aroma, deep amber colour and just enough hops and bitterness in flavour as well as strong fruity notes. Went down fast.

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2019) Winter

13.6°C Damn smooth, full of maple, bourbon, coffee and dark chocolate. Absolutely lovely amount of barrel for the price.

Stereo Mono: Mosaic Winter

8/24 Advent Second time drinking this and it's not as great as back in June. It's hoppy, bitter, has faint tropical notes but also feels pretty gassy and has an unpleasant bittersweet aftertaste. Dead beautiful tangerine colour though. Not bad.

Gorm the Old - Rum Cask Edition Winter

There's a lot of cask to be found here. Fresh oak and loads of alcoholic rum tastes. Needs more roast and heavier malt. Barely getting the chocolate.

Blue Specks Winter

Great, malt and barley. There's grape, the classic American breaded flavours with butter, fruity characters.

Kentucky Bourbon Stout (KBS) (2021) Winter

15.8°C Classic, traditional BBA coffee stout. Offends no one, satisfies many. Roasty, oak rounded, bourbon boozyness, mild chocolate and smooth coffee rounded off with vanilla. You get just about all you really need.

#06 DIPA Winter

I get lots of hops, sweet, ripe fruit like peaches or apricot, grapefruit pith, some funky floral smell and a strong, bitter, alcoholic baseline. Very powerful DIPA.

Dangerously Close To Stupid 2.0 Winter

LCI Floral, earthy, very hoppy nose. Smooth drink with a fruity and citrusy flavour. Only sign of the ABV is a subtle warming of the throat. Very crushable.

George Bourbon BA Winter

Ridiculously well balanced. Heavy bourbon nose and flavour but never does it overshadow the roasted malts nor is it overpowered by sweetness. It's stout and bourbon in perfect harmony, perfect when warm. Perfect for stashing.

Gentle carbonation, massive raspberry. Loving it until the end.

Ich Bin Raspberry Winter

Still in love with this bargain thirst quencher. Light, crisp, tart and fresh raspberry. Slight, light malt note hidden somewhere in between.

Heated Seats Winter

Didn't expect it to be this good. Pleasantly surprised by the taste that's, unusually enough, a little better than the smell. A light neipa that goes down easily with sandwiches or other light meals.
