Dry, tart, sharp, lightly sour, tannic, funky and smooth on finish - no harsh acidity. Delicate mouthfeel

60 Minute IPA Burnett

Fantastic win for United, Champions League football secured. Slumming it in a Travelodge with a Pepsi glass (beats a mug!). Fantastic old school IPA. Caramel, big bitterness, malt, resin, pine, grapefruit, lemon and pithiness. Really hitting the spot

90 Minute Imperial IPA (2023) Burnett

A bucket list beer, this is absolutely wonderful. Everything you want from a Westy - piney, bitter, resinous, marmalade, lemon and a little dank. Boozy, sticky and syrupy. One of the best I’ve had in the style - serving out of a can interestingly

Kriek 100% Lambic Bio (2022) Burnett

Losing my Cantillon virginity in a Travelodge, in a plastic cup. What is my life 😂 this is beautiful, so much tart cherry, funk and actually really refreshing. Good level of sourness. Need more lambic in my life!

Geuze Mariage Parfait (2017) Burnett

Spicy, woody, funky, oakey, sour, savoury, lemony, bitter and crisp and refreshing too. Absolutely delicious, haven’t had many lambics need to try more

Iskold Classic Burnett

Well this much better than expected- malty and bitter with toffee and caramel, almost more like a bitter than a lager. Good body and mouthfeel, I have to say the beers in this months BD&F have been a real step up from last months

Oculus Orbus Burnett

Hoppy, juicy and tropical DIPA - bit grassy and vegetal, but not necessarily in a bad way - bitter finish
