Rosé De Gambrinus (2022) Bolt

In comparison to Lindemann's framboise, the aroma is all oak and funk, virtually no fruit. It's a lot more dry, has more body and is a lot more robust. The taste is tart, with the raspberries becoming more apparent in the finish. Not disappointed!

Gueuze 100% Lambic Bio Bolt

I didn't realise lambic isn't carbonated and gueuze is, till trying the difference here at Cantillon. Strong funk aroma. Warm, smooth finish. A little dry. Quite different from the tart Tilquin gueuze of yesterday!

Vigneronne (2017) Bolt

The aroma is funk. Very rich, sour up front, but it has a mouthfeel(?) Which is almost creamy, sort of smooth. The overall impression after a few sips is residual tartness and acidity, but that isn't present in the initial taste. I like it a lot!

Kriek 100% Lambic Bolt

There's a lot more to this kriek than others I have tried. It isn't sweet. Very much sour cherries dominate the taste, and you can taste the oakiness and there is a little tartness.

Oude Geuze Boon Bolt

Tart, dry and slightly winey. Sourness is quite subtle and lingers in the mouth after the finish. The high carbonation keeps it fresh at each sip. Lovely!
