French Toast Bastard Dupre

Not as good as I expected. Smells better than it tastes. I definitely tasted the vanilla on my first sip and some maple too. I think the cinnamon takes over as the beer warms. I don’t think cinnamon and a scotch ale work.

Utopias Barrel - Aged World Wide Stout (2021) Dupre

Wonderful boozy smell and taste. A little bit of a boozy bite but generally smooth for 17%.

Panther Cub (2021) Dupre

I could taste some vanilla but it wasn’t as sweet as I’d expect with a maple syrup adjunct. Frankly overall underwhelming for a BBA stout.

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge (2020) Dupre

No shortage of fudge in this one. If you’re looking for a fudgy stout, look no further.
